While most of Australia’s national brands are present here, Perth has also managed to attract numerous high street and luxury brands. Perth’s malls and designer shops are as glamorous as those in any big Western or Asian city. Perth malls and shopping centers

The suburban areas of Perth should be the first choice for those who prefer the diversity and practicality of big shopping centers. Some of huge malls at Perth’s outskirts host up to 200 stores, cafes and restaurants. Lakes Shopping Centre, Karrinyup Shopping Centre, Innaloo Shopping Centre, Whitford City or The Colonnade are just a few of Perth’s fabulous peripheral shopping centers. Form more centrally located malls, you can try out London Court Arcade, Forrest Chase or City West. Harbour Town Perth on Wellington Street is one of the biggest and most popular outlet malls in the city.

Shopping streets and districts in Perth

Most designer stores and boutiques in Perth can be found along one or another of Perth’s major shipping districts. King Street in West Perth hosts many of Perth’s luxury brand boutiques, with names such a Gucci, Prada or Chanel. This is also where some of the city’s best known local designers sell their creations, so don’t hesitate to enter a shop just because you haven’t heard of the name on the storefront. Wesley Quarter and Raine Square have also been chosen by the big international labels for their central location. Not far from the center you will find Claremont Quarter, another popular high-street shopping district in Perth.

Whenever we’re talking about shopping and traveling, the topic of souvenirs pops up. There are numerous souvenir shops in Perth, but your experience depends a lot on what kind of souvenirs you are looking for. At Perth’s iconic London Court, a historic shopping center with a distinguished colonial look, you will find several souvenir shops, as well a specialty stores selling antiques, expensive chocolate, cigars and Aboriginal art. The Freemantle Markets offer a good choice of local products, as well as hand-made crafts, souvenirs and indigenous art, often under a fair-trade label.
